Step 1 · Install your agent

Install the Torchsec RMM agent

Pick your operating system. Use the button to download and run the installer, or copy the one-line command if you prefer the terminal. If a prompt asks for permission to make changes, allow it — the installer finishes on its own.

Is this legitimate?

Yes. Your organization has engaged Torchsec Technologies to manage and protect your work computers, and this page and installer are provided by Torchsec. If you weren't expecting this or you're unsure, that's a smart instinct — check with your manager or contact our Help Desk below before installing. We'd rather you ask.

What the agent does

  • Keeps this computer updated, patched, and healthy
  • Monitors for security and performance issues
  • Lets the Help Desk securely connect to help when you need it
  • Is how you open a support ticket from now on

What it's not

  • It's for your work computer, deployed by your organization — not your personal devices
  • It's an IT management tool, not employee surveillance — we're not reading your personal email or browsing history
  • The Help Desk connects to assist you; you'll typically be aware when a support session is active
  • Questions about what's collected? Ask your manager or our Help Desk — we'll answer plainly
How do I know this isn't phishing?
Good question to ask about any install link. This page lives at onboarding.torchsec.com and was shared by your management. If anything feels off — an unexpected sender, a different web address, urgency or pressure — stop and confirm with your manager or the Torchsec Help Desk before installing.
The download button didn't do anything.
Check your browser's Downloads area (often top-right, or the bar along the bottom) — the file may already be there. If the button still won't start, try a different browser, or copy the link/command shown on your operating system's card above. Still stuck? The Help Desk can walk you through it.
It's asking for an administrator password or permission.
That's expected — installing software needs permission. On Windows, click Yes. On Mac or Linux, enter your computer password when prompted. If you don't have an admin account on your work computer, contact the Help Desk and we'll help you finish.
Can I install this on my personal computer?
No — this is only for the work computers your organization provides. Please don't install it on personal devices.
How long does this take?
About two minutes. Download, run it, allow the prompt, and it finishes on its own — no restart needed.

Step 3 · How to reach us

Opening a support ticket

Once the agent is installed, the fastest way to get help is right from your computer.

1 · Click the icon

Look for this icon by the clock, bottom-right (click the ^ arrow first if it's hidden), and click it.

2 · Choose an option

Pick “Take screenshot and request support” when the problem is on screen, or “Request support.”

3 · Submit

Fill in the short form — summary, details, urgency, contact info — and click Submit.
